The USL Camps are designed to improve novice and advanced player’s technical abilities and tactical awareness through real soccer situations. The philosophy used by the USL staff coaches and camp directors Jerome and Miriam Hickey, is the "Dutch Vision" of coaching soccer. We believe that soccer is learned best through playing the game and in training environments as close to the game as possible. All sessions will have all the ingredients of the real game, pressure from defenders, a goal to move toward, and time and space constraints. This type of teaching the game demands that the coaching staff knows soccer inside and out. We at USL Camps, feel we have assembled the type of staff needed to improve your game. The camp is designed for players of all abilities from any club. The camp will run from 9:00am - noon for players ages 5 - 14. Bring ball and water bottle to camp! Acamp T-shirt will be provided. The parent or guardian will furnish medical insurance for their child. Camp tuition: $ 75.00 for one week and $140.00 for both weeks.

·          2-time collegiate All American

·          2 National Dutch indoor championships

Jerome Hickey

Over 20 years experience as a soccer coach:

·      Macomb College Head Coach

·     Vardar East Boys and USL Coaching Director

·      4 years as Collegiate head coach in New Mexico

·      3 years State Staff Coach LA ODP Program

·      National Dutch Championship and Cup Championship

·      Former Eisenhower High School Varsity Coach

·      UEFA B license and NSCAA National Diploma

Player:

·      Semi-pro for the Permian Basin Shootin’ Stars in Odessa, TX

·      4 years of collegiate soccer
